Bruce Seidel

Analyst, M&A Advisory

Bruce Seidel works as an Analyst on the M&A Advisory team, serving founders and CEOs across the digital commerce ecosystem. Bruce spends his time at eGateway Capital conducting buyer and seller outreach, analyzing financial statements and industry data, executing transactions on behalf of clients, performing valuation analyses on companies, researching industry trends, and constructing market reports and key memoranda for the M&A process. Bruce brings a unique perspective to the M&A team, having worked on more than a billion dollars' worth of transactions during his career. Prior to joining eGateway, Bruce worked at Rippe & Kingston Capital Advisors, a generalist middle-market investment bank, where he focused on sell-side M&A advisory in industries including CPG, e-commerce and retail, enterprise software and SaaS, industrials, and distribution. Bruce graduated with honors from the University of Cincinnati with a double major in finance and entrepreneurship and spent six months in London studying international business at the Guildhall School of Business and Law.

Chad is a Founding and Managing Partner at eGateway Capital. Prior to eGateway, he was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Strategy Officer for a fast-growing, publicly held technology company. He also worked at Procter and Gamble, leading strategy and brand marketing in their Baby Care division. Chad began his career in the US Navy’s Submarine Force, serving as nuclear engineer on the fast attack submarine, USS Topeka (SSN 754). Chad graduated with Honors with a B.S. in Economics from the United State Naval Academy, and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Chad is eager to learn, loves to fly fish, and has a passion for volunteerism.

Jon Cottrell, Vice President, works with the eGateway Capital M&A Advisory team. Based in Dubai, UAE, Jon leverages his unique M&A experience to support the US operations while looking to expand eGateway’s presence in the EMEA and APAC markets. As the “Quarter Back” of transactions, Jon ensures a seamless process for clients from start to close. Jon has completed over 20 transactions, many cross border. Originally from the UK, Jon grew up in Dubai before making his way to the University of Cincinnati to be a part of the men’s soccer team. Graduating with summa cum laude and honors in M.S. Financial Mathematics, he moved to Silicon Valley to join Menalto Advisors, where he spent five years advising and executing M&A strategies with buyers including Affirm, Alibaba, Apple, Coinbase, Google, and Facebook. Jon began his financial career as a Private Equity Analyst at Fund Evaluation Group.

He also focuses on Firm management. Prior to eGateway, Josh has experience building and scaling ecommerce companies as a founder. He also worked at Bain & Company on three different continents, primarily in the Private Equity and Technology Practices. Josh began his career as a naval officer, serving aboard warships in the Atlantic and Pacific Fleet as well as at Navy Europe Headquarters in Naples, Italy. Josh graduated with Honors with a B.S. in Economics from the United State Naval Academy, an M.A. from the University of Oklahoma, and an MBA with distinction from the Harvard Business School.

Kevin Gusweiler is a principal and co-founder of eGateway Capital, where he’s primarily responsible for identifying and analyzing investment opportunities, leading deal execution and helping portfolio companies scale. Prior to launching eGateway, Kevin spent two years at Fort Washington Capital Partners (‘FWCP’) where he was responsible for various private equity investments. Before FWCP, Kevin held various leadership positions at Fifth Third Bank, most recently as a senior member of their corporate development team focused on inorganic growth. Kevin graduated from Miami University with a BS in Finance and lives in Cincinnati with his wife and growing family.

Madeline McIntyre is Head of Investor Relations at eGateway Capital, where she focused on unique and thoughtful engagement between all aspects of the eGateway community. This includes cultivating relationships with current and prospective investors, portfolio companies, corporate partners and strategic advisors. Prior to eGateway Capital, Madeline worked at both InnoSource and TwentyTwo Ventures, Michael Redd’s investment vehicle. An Ohio State graduate and 3x captain of the softball program, she spent the first few years of her career fundraising within athletics at Ohio State and ultimately started and ran the Eugene D. Smith Leadership Institute.

Mark Sancrant is a co-founder and partner with eGateway Capital and leads the M&A Advisory practice. Mark has extensive transaction experience over a 26-year career in investment banking, corporate strategy, and M&A. Mark’s focus is working with entrepreneurs, management teams, and investors in high-growth markets including eCommerce, consumer products, marketing, and logistics. Mark brings a unique background that spans Wall Street investment banking as well as operational experience. His investment banking and M&A advisory background includes Prudential Securities, Blue Stone Capital, and Blue Ash Capital – a firm he founded. In addition to his advisory background, Mark has held senior and executive level strategy and M&A positions in the consumer products, ecommerce, and media markets with D2C Brands, Empower Media, and iNET Interactive. Mark currently serves as the President of the Board of Trustees for Children’s Meeting House Montessori School. Previously he served as a Board Member of the Association for Corporate Growth – Cincinnati Chapter and Vice President of the Board of Trustees for St. Peter Claver Latin School for Boys.

COO/CFO

Mike Dutton is COO/CFO for the Firm and works closely with the Investment process as well as investor relations and operations, for the investment funds advised and managed by eGateway Capital. He also focuses on Firm management. Prior to joining eGateway Capital, and for approximately 25 combined years, Mike held senior positions at Capital Group, Calpers and Carlyle with similar responsibilities and subject focus as he maintains today. At Calpers, Mike focused on portfolio restructuring and led key initiatives during the GFC, and was a Senior Portfolio Manager. Before working in private capital, Mike worked in the publishing industry for Reed Elsevier, as well as public accounting and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of William and Mary with a concentration in Accounting.
